Following their historic gold medal coup yesterday at the European Senior Championships in Ankara, Turkey Greenjab.ie amateur boxing reporter Louis O Meara was at Dublin airport this morning Ray Moylette and Joe Ward arrived back in Dublin this morning to a hero’s welcome from elated fans and family.

Ray Moylette, the AIBA 2008 World Youth champion, was only in Turkey because of injury to the 2011 senior champion Ross Hickey was ecstatic following his win.

Joe Ward, at 17, the minimum age requirement for amateur boxing at senior level, is now one of youngest champions in the 87-year history of the European Championships.
