Almost a year to the day from when Henry Coyle won the WBF Light-middleweight title in Castlebar, the ‘Western Warrior’ returns to the Royal Theatre in Mayo’s county town to defend the title on Friday, August 17.

Details of an exciting undercard will also be confirmed and is likely to feature the return of Cavan’s European title challenger Andy Murray, Cuban KO specialist Alexei Collado and a host of local talent.
Following the collapse of Red Hawk Promotions bill in Castlerea there are a number of Western-based boxers who have now become licence and are eager to get fights under their belts. It is likely that undercard will be swelled by their ranks.
Ticket prices and availability as well as Coyle’s opponent are yet to be confirmed.
