NOBODY can accuse Ben Wager of not being game for a fight.
The Barnsley lightweight, 21, fought in the away corner on debut and lost narrowly in Scotland.
This week, with his scheduled fight against unbeaten Kyle Winters cancelled, Wager, rather than twiddle his thumbs rushed to Liverpool’s passport office and renewed in time to take on Anthony Cacace tonight in Belfast.
At 1-1, Wager is a firm believer that records are for djs and will take the fight to Cacace on debut.
“I’ve taken the fight because I was desperate to have one and was disappointed when mine was cancelled.
“I’m not bothered with who he beat as an amateur. We’ll see if he likes his ribs tickling!”
Wager’s win came by first round knockout and he’ll be looking to cause an upset tonight.
